Heather Binns, Owner/Founder
Heather has had a passion for health and fitness for more than 20 years. She holds multiple fitness certifications including the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Apex Fitness, Equinox Fitness Training Institute, TRX Suspension Training, Kettlebells, Functional Movement Screens (FMS), Special Populations (obesity/health/joint problems), and the Power Plate. Heather specializes in weight/fat loss, metabolic and interval training, physical imbalance correction, resistance/strength training, functional movement, athletic/sport training, corrective stretching techniques, core/stability training, and self-myofascial release (SMR). Her training philosophy focuses on proper form and functional training styles, in addition to healthy nutrition to safely and effectively reach one’s fitness goals.
Heather is very athletic and is a former professional athlete. Her background includes running and football. She did cross country and track & field, which then progressed into races from 5Ks to marathons, triathlons, century rides and adventure competitions. She is a marathon coach for the American Heart Association and has been a Running Guide/Pace Leader for Nike Run LA, Nike Run Hit Remix, and the Nike Top 20 Program. She has worked for some of the top clubs in the industry such as the Sports Club/LA and Equinox Fitness. Heather was also a professional football player (Defensive End) for the Los Angeles Lasers in the WPFL and the WAFL. Her love for sports and fitness subsequently carried on to her daughter who is a high school track star.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Chapman University and two Associate of Arts degrees in Fire Science and Liberal Arts. Heather enjoys volunteering and raising funds for charitable organizationssuch as the American Heart Association, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Train 4 Autism, The Epilepsy Foundation, and more. In her spare time she enjoys painting, hiking, reading, spending time with friends & family, working out and maintaining her health, and writing heath & fitness articles for various media outlets.
Crystal-Marie Resch, Fitness Instructor
Crystal-Marie holds her CPT/CES certification from The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). With a background in dance, she was a Lyrical Jazz, Contemporary and Modern Dance Instructor in Los Angeles. She specializes in TRX Suspension Training; enhancing power, strength, flexibility and balance to help reduce injuries; corrective exercises; strength training and plyometrics. Crystal’s passions include bike riding, hiking, kettlebell training and dance. She believes the key to optimal fitness is keeping your workouts fun, yet challenging, and always trying something new to keep your body guessing.

Steven Binns, Jr., Sport Psychology Consultant
Steven is a busy, curious and enduring individual. He actively seeks out challenges, confronts them, and learns as much as he can. Athletics have always been a large part of his life. He's enjoyed individual and team sports from childhood through college, in particular, soccer and track & field. Even today Steven integrates training, competition and fun into his regular weekly routine.
Steven's clinical background includes over 12 years of counseling experience and meaningful interactions with various cultures. He currently trains and competes in triathlons and other multi-sport races as a way to balance his love for sports and education. Steven is bilingual (Spanish) and has provided individual and group counseling in Ohio, Chicago, and Los Angeles. He has an innate desire to help others in need and enjoy the challenges of such a dynamic field.
